ENCYCLOPAEDIA BRITANNICA OR A DICTIONARY OF ARTS Sciences and Miscellaneous Literature 1795-1811, 20 volumes which includes 2 vols of the 2nd book and a six volume supplement 1811-1824, the 26 cols contain some 542 engraved copper plates which covers a large number of the country's Sciences, Machinery + quantity of maps, there are many faults with the bindings, covers detached, labels missingetc, but fortunately most of the books have clean inners, only a small number are foxed, volume 10 states 540 plates and carries the date of 1797 making the plates and maps over 200 years old
