Sale Report

GRAND END OF YEAR SALE

The Christmas and New Year sale at the Wotton Auction Rooms attracted one of the largest crowds of the year with many new faces finding the auction rooms for the first time.  This in turn resulted in a virtual sell out of the 1,500 lots or so on offer, while the café was fully stretched catering for the continual demand.

These rooms have become well known for the range of lots offered at each sale and this one was no exception, take for example the 60 or so lots of OO gauge railway effects sold on behalf of a local deceased estate without reserve, this was the second phase of the collection concentrating in the main on diesels and present day rolling stock which sold for a total of £5,839 to buyers from all parts of the country.
